Best Time to Get Married at Glacier Point:

Best Time of Year for a Glacier Point Wedding:

June and September are the best months for a Glacier Point Elopement. Glacier Point is only accessible when the Glacier Point Road is open, typically Late May-Late October. You can check the current Glacier Point Road status here.

Glacier Point Amphitheater Weddings are allowed the Tuesday after Memorial Day through September 30th. No ceremonies are allowed in July or August, but you can still take photos there during those months.

Best Days of the Week:

We highly recommend getting married on a weekday (Monday-Thursday) to avoid the weekend crowds.

Best Time of Day:

Sunrise and early morning is the best time of day for a Glacier Point Wedding. The sun rises behind Half Dome creating a magical glow around the mountain for the best Glacier Point view, and there are far fewer people at that time.
